5k run

I ran my first race today and LOVED it. It was a 5K so only 3.11 miles - not too long. I came in at 151st place out of 400 and my time was 31:40 so about 10 minute miles (that's pretty much always my average).
It was the pioneer day run and this couple dressed up as pioneers to run it. It was funny cause he carried a Book of Mormon. I told my friend that we just had to make sure that we beat the pioneers!
This is my friend Ethan. He ran the race with me. It was fun to have a friend there, especially for my first time.
Ha ha, after the race was finished, they had an oxygen bar so I got to breath some yummy flavored oxygen. Ha ha, I found this picture online from a photographer at the race. This pic of me not paying attention looks a lot better then my other pictures! lol

Life Goes On

Back in Utah. Glad to be here? I haven't had a chance to think about it, I've been busy! In current events, Dad had knee surgery.Apparently when they give it to you, they shave your leg and then color it orange like an umpa-lumpa.Jeanne and kids came down when I got back from Taiwan and we had a chance to go to the open house for the Oquirrh Mountain temple.
Of course I went boating at the first chance I got.
If you concentrate really hard, you will make it over the wake.
Pity, I do usually smile and live it up, but not in the two shots we got that day. Lame.

Over and Out

The time has come for things to end. It has been a wonderful ride and I will miss Taiwan dearly. This is a picture of me and my primary children Emily and Bradley Bachleon. They are the branch presidents kids. There are three times that I have cried about leaving Taiwan and saying goodbye to Emily was one of them. I have loved being called to the primary. It was one of the best experiences of my life.
Anyway, at the end we just vacationed around like crazy. Here are the pictures from that.

I tried to stick Derek in my luggage. Unfortunately we ended up not being able to fit him in plus all of my stuff :(
